Somerset Township Library is a small public library that has been in existence for over 50 years. Within that timeframe, there have been four Librarians- Doris Hartnell, Helen MacKenzie, Gail Ferguson and currently, Joann Sneary.
Somerset Township Library not only serves the residents of Somerset Township but also residents of surrounding areas such as Mirror Lake and Moscow Township. Along with local newspapers, magazines, and books to borrow; there are audio books available on both cassettes and CD’s. Also available for public use is a computer with DSL internet connection and printer.
Although Somerset Township Library receives no federal or state funding, the book selection is enhanced by purchasing best sellers each month and when possible, adding to our audio book selection. Funds received through donations and book sales are used for purchasing children and young adult books through a source from Scholastic.
All book donations-hardback, paperback, and audio-are accepted and appreciated during all open hours of the library.
